• To share the milestones in upbringing of this institution a memorial day is celebrated as Vidyalaya foundation day every year.
• On the eve of Vidyalaya foundation day distinguished alumni are honoured and a founder’s day address will be given by an eminent personality who could narrate ideals of Vidyalaya for which it stands for.

Swami Vivekananda Chicago Address Recitation Competition

Our Vidyalaya conducts an event titled, “Swami Vivekananda Chicago Address recitation competition”, held for students of all the institutions of the Vidyalaya. The event was held in three categories: Metric, Post-metric and College level, and the competitions are conducted in English, Tamil and Hindi. Following preliminary rounds held at the respective institutions (winners get cash awards) during August and the first week of September, the finals are held on September 2nd week. In this function a distinguished personality will deliver the chief guest’s address. Prizes (cash awards) are distributed to the winners.

Graduation Day Ceremony

In the Gurukula form of education system every student is honoured before leaving their institution. Similarly, at the end of the academic year our students are honoured with Vedic rituals so as to get divine force and guidelines from elderly scholars.
